Hi, I thought I would just do a test while I'm driving in my car, I just got my brakes repaired by steel here is pretty much just the sound of the road and the sound of my rickety car. Um, I know that. Let's see, what did I want to tell you about today? Well, I'm driving down Woolsey Canyon Road in beautiful Chatsworth, California.

Speaker 2:

And it's about 93 degrees. It's supposed to get up into the hundreds today or maybe tomorrow, but I'm not really sure which day. So today is the day that I just decided to go out and do a nice long walk out in the in the boonies out in the mountains. And it's really nice out, especially in the mornings. The only thing I don't like is that when I'm walking out, I mean, when I'm walking out in the mountains and stuff, there are these great paths.

Speaker 2:

And you can pretty much go without your face mask, because there's not that many people around. But I don't know, I still feel kind of like I should wear No, because I get a little nervous about the COVID. You know, and I don't want to take any chances. So I do try to wear it as much as I can, when I'm not only when I'm indoors, like in a store, or I mean like when I'm in a grocery store. But like, even when I'm out on the pass, I'm aware of my face mask, and it's kind of hot to do that.

Speaker 2:

But I figure it's, it's actually kind of good practice for when I'm in the grocery store. So you know I can, if I can wear my mask for like an hour, when I'm out doing a hike in the mountains, then it's not as much of a hassle to wear it for about 20 minutes while I'm at the grocery store. So I don't know about you, but I keep seeing these. These videos like of these anti massacre type people that go into stores and yell at the people working there because they have to wear their masks and they don't want to wear their masks because masks are oppressive.

Speaker 2:

And they can't read with the masks on. And it really irritates me because I don't know. These people just seem like they're just out asking for trouble. And really, there's so many options now, at least here in my area. If if you need groceries, you can you can order them online and have them delivered. Or you can even just check with the grocery, they can just have them ready for you right at the curb side. And you don't have to go in and you don't have to wear the mask in your car.

Speaker 2:

So these people just drive me nuts, these Karen's. So anyway, it's really nice to be driving down this hill. And I've just passed a guy on a bike, who's furiously pedaling to get himself up the hill, and I feel kind of bad for him. But you know, it's still not 100 degrees yet, so he'll probably be okay. He's probably heading to the park up at the top of the hill. Because there's this nice place to Sage ranch where you can walk around lots of rocks.

Speaker 2:

Very few people. Although I had an interesting encounter there a couple of weeks ago, I got up super early, so I could go for one of my hikes up there. And as I was leaving, and I was driving away, this big giant deer came running out in front of my car and just jumped right in front of me. And fortunately, even though my brakes were in bad shape, the rotors were kind of, you know, gone. I was able to stop in time and he was able to clear the hood of my car.

So that would have been fun if there had been some damage from But anyway, at least I'm okay. And that pretty deers. Okay, and I'm just about at the bottom of the hill, and I think I got enough stuff in here. So that's so I think that'll be enough for a test.
